New Year, New Goals!

Welcome back after what I'll call a hiatus, but really it was just laziness on my part. I've still been sewing though, just not documenting here or anywhere else for that matter. I recently decided to steer my focus away from selling and more on honing my craft. I went from part time to full time with my day job back in November. My whole schedule has changed because of this, but in a good way. Extra money=more sewing supplies and less stress on trying to sell items to pay for said sewing supplies. This doesn't mean that I won't be selling anything, it just means my focus is shifting so that I can show off what I've been making and if I don't want to keep it, I can throw it in my Etsy shop and see what happens. Some of my loyal pals out there might be thinking... What about custom orders?? I will happily take these requests on depending on what the actual request is. Even if I can't get it done for you, I am part of such a great community, I can surely find someone that can!

So, with all of that being said, I still have a handful of items in my shop I would like to send to new homes. PLUS, I'm offering free shipping on every order over $10, no code necessary! I even lowered the price on a few of the items in the shop too.

I will leave you with some photos of my first completed project of 2019. I started this quilt back in 2018, but finally got it bound this month. I used a Cotton + Steel fat quarter bundle that I purchased from Pineapple Fabrics at our local Quilt and Sewing Expo in September. I used the Hourglass pattern from Emily Dennis' book Modern Quilts: Block By Block.

Thank you for stopping by my little place. You could be watching cat videos, shopping online, or doing who knows what, but you came here, so thanks :)

Amanda
